Comedy Troupe founder Ty Cardacey is an International Award Winning lasso
artist, whip cracker, NY International Clown Festival bronze medal winner for
eccentric dance, two time Will Rogers Memorial association's Comedy Cowboy
Roper of the Year. Ty Cardacey expresses the cowboy philosophy of America's
favorite son Will Rogers, keeping alive the spirit of the man who was considered the unofficial
spokesperson of the American people! He’s a veritable one-man wild-west-burlesque show.
Scout Durwood was born and raised in Kansas City and graduated cum laude from Amherst College with
a degree in Political and Social Activism through Theatre. She has written and produced two solo shows
and is a former title holder in the Miss America pageant system. From stand-up and sketch to Burlesque, why, Scout is also a veritable one-woman variety show!
These acts are a hybrid of burlesque tease and side act spectacle, featuring some of the best of
wild west and burlesque. A new twist on the classic burlesque balloon acts and wild western duel.

I have another burlesque and variety act hybrid fusion piece. The gag is I execute various horse catches with the lasso, using my lovely assister to demonstrate. Each time she removes a thrown lasso, an article of clothing comes off. Sexy, Funny, Campy, and Irreverent.

A tribute to the classic burlesque comic stylings of the Hero-fool trickster Will Rogers from the Ziegfield Follies who was half Cherokee and the best trick roping cowboy in history. In addition to breaking the cowboy and Indian division, while spinning a lasso Will told brilliant political observations in a “home spun” “folky huckster” way and mysteriously a great deal of his topical material has stood the test of 80 years.
